The SMAVOO Pick-by-Light solution is used to optimize picking processes in warehouses and distribution centers. It is a visual picking system that uses illuminated displays at storage locations to show employees which items and in what quantity they need to pick for an order. The system is based on the simple logic of light: when a light turns on, the employee takes the item shown. This significantly reduces error rates and increases productivity because it makes the picking process faster and more efficient. With the help of an integrated ultra-low power (ULP) chip, the sensors interact with each other and pass on the next picking order to the downstream device after successful removal.
