SMAVOO buzzer
The SMAVOO buzzer acts as a multifunctional, manually operated signal generator. With a simple push of a button, it sends tailored messages to your system to signal various needs. This can refer to system entries, messages to the merchandise management system or messages to specific addresses or devices. It is also used in production facilities where supported communication between employees is necessary. A common scenario would be reporting that picking trolleys are empty or removing large load carriers (GLTs). By pressing an individually adjustable button, the factory employee can inform his colleagues from logistics about the current status of the goods. The SMAVOO buzzers are available in different sizes, depending on the application and the design of the display and the battery.
Empty notification of picking trolleys
Each picking cart can be equipped with a buzzer that is activated when the cart is empty. This would allow employees to immediately see when a cart is emptied and ready to be reloaded. The buzzer can also be paired with a SMAVOO light system to increase visibility.
Reordering GLTs
Similar to the picking cart, you could also use a buzzer to signal the reordering of GLTs. When the inventory of GLTs falls below a certain threshold, the buzzer could be activated to alert employees that a new order needs to be placed.
Integration with warehouse management system
To make the system even more efficient, you could also integrate the buzzer into your warehouse management system (LVS). For example, automatic reorders could be triggered or employees could be informed via an app or terminal when the buzzer is activated.
